Hi!
I’m Sara.
I’m a qualified Naturopath and Herbalist, and a real nerd about health.
A little about me, I’m a proud mother to my vibrant 4-year-old son. Some of my favourite things include, lifting weights at the gym, hiking, curling up with a good book, beaching it with my boy, Tea ceremonies, and spending quality time with friends.
I believe my true calling lies in helping others embrace their healing journeys. I’m dedicated to guiding people in connecting with their bodies, understanding their natural rhythms, and discovering empowerment through the healing process.

My Story
My journey into Natural Medicine began at 17, when I found myself lost in the world of clean eating and fitspo culture. This spiraled into an eating disorder and a host of health issues, forcing me to confront some hard truths about my mindset and self-worth. Reclaiming my health has been a long and transformative journey—one that’s taught me the importance of prioritizing my well-being, staying connected to my body and truly understanding what it needs to flourish. Along the way, I’ve faced my fair share of challenges, from hormonal imbalances and digestive issues, to thyroid concerns and blood sugar dysregulation. I share this to let you know: if you’re struggling with your health, I genuinely understand.
Before discovering Naturopathy I spent many years in out of doctors offices without any real solutions. My curious mind led me to delve deeper into health on my own. A pivotal moment came when I read Dr. Libby’s Beauty From The Inside Out; it opened my eyes to how little I knew about the female body and its natural processes. This book sparked my fascination with physiology and nutrition. Another influential book at the time was Eckhart Tolle’s A New Earth, which helped me cultivate self-awareness and take control of my thoughts and beliefs about myself—essential tools in my healing journey that I encourage my clients to explore.
After experiencing the holistic and evidence-based approach of a Naturopath, I realized this was the path I wanted to pursue. In 2018, I graduated with a degree in Naturopathic and Herbal Medicine from Wellpark College. I’ve experienced first hand the power of Naturopathy on my own health and wellbeing, and have been fortunate to support others to reach their health goals over the past few years.
I love learning and expanding my knowledge in health. In particular my passions have lead me to study more about postpartum health, exercise nutrition and Traditional Chinese Medicine. Becoming a Mother 4 years ago opened my eyes to the lack of Postpartum care and support for new mothers and I feel really passionate about creating change in this area. I am currently offering workshops in the community on Postpartum Health and I hope to continue doing more in this space. Fitness is also a big passion of mine, I love resistance training and I’ve recently started teaching Mat Pilates at a new studio and wellness space in Whangarei. I’m excited about supporting woman who love fitness and are wanting to learn how to support and nourish their bodies to keep their hormones happy.

My Values
EDUCATION & EMPOWERMENT
My mission is to empower my clients by educating them about their bodies’ natural processes and nutritional needs. When you feel knowledgeable and empowered about your health, you can take charge of your health and advocate for yourself effectively. I want my clients to grasp the "why" behind my recommendations. When you work with me, you’ll receive educational resources that complement your Wellness Plan, covering topics such as nutrition, nervous system regulation, herbal remedies, and exercise.
SELF AWARENESS & CONNECTION TO SELF
Through my own healing journey and by supporting my clients on theirs, I’ve witnessed the profound impact that our thoughts and beliefs have on our well-being. These beliefs can either hinder or nurture our growth. At the start of our journey together, I encourage all my clients to take time for self-reflection and journal about their "why" and beliefs. This process fosters awareness of any barriers to lasting change. I emphasize the importance of connecting with oneself and listening to our inner wisdom as essential keys to healing. I believe that ill health often stems from a disconnection from ourselves, our bodies, and nature.
SUSTAINABILITY & STRONG FOUNDATIONS
My goal for my clients is to ensure their progress is sustainable, allowing them to maintain their results over the long term. We begin by focusing on foundational aspects of health, particularly nutrition and lifestyle habits that foster lasting well-being. While therapeutic supplementation can be very beneficial and necessary during our treatment, the aim is to avoid long-term reliance on these aids. As we work together, I guide my clients in increasing essential nutrients in their diet and implementing daily habits that create more resilience in the body.
When working with me , there is always a focus on reconnecting to your body and your own inner wisdom, whilst learning about the incredible natural processes occurring in your body. This is where the magic happens - when knowledge and intuition meet. I want you to be able to listen to your bodies cues and help meet your own needs going forward. This is an important part of feeling empowered on your journey.
